TPS Expressive ARTS

Expressive Arts plays a vital role in enabling students to enhance their creative talent and develop their artistic skills. Through Expressive Arts, students are encouraged to be creative and expressive in a variety of different ways such as group work, independent work and performing to an audience.

Students are able to develop important skills specific to Expressive Arts which are transferable to other subject areas within school and their life outside of school.

The students’ experiences within Expressive Arts play a central role in shaping their sense of personal, social and cultural identity whilst supporting them to recognise, value and appreciate the variety and vitality of culture locally, nationally and globally enabling students to become “Global Citizens.”
